^ What the hell does that even have to do with anything, besides showing OP's inherent misogyny? Not married people, but married women. What difference does it make if they're married or not? Say a stupid thing like "straight relationships are boring, everyone gets married and lives happily ever after, how uninteresting," and get a backlash in response. But no, only married women care.
And they are calling all het relationships boring and simple. Makes you wonder what they plan to to with their relationships in the future once they realize they can't magically transform into a gay brother-in-arms.

(Anonymous) 2010-11-27 06:53 am (UTC)(link)Yeah, that's the part that pinged me hard. The OP wasn't saying it's more interesting to read about, or more fun to watch on TV, or to imagine themselves to be or anything like that, they were saying more fun to be. That's a little cray-cray.
It sounds imo like the OP wants more excitement in their IRL relationships and can't find any, and is turning to slash to get angst and drama vicariously from what they say about escaping reality.
That, and that they simply have some kind of misogynist hate-on for het. Because every slash fan will admit that 95% of all slash is utter shit. Every het fan will admit that 95% of all het is utter shit. The point is finding the gems, not dismissing the categories entirely.
