I sort of too do...The writers have addressed this though, so it's not as if we're crazy and alone and thinking this. I just like their relationship.

But, I don't want romance and flowers, I just want them to coexist as partners for the rest of time, randomly hooking up and what not.

Let's see what you're saying here:

- all female characters in relationships are passive wives who stay at home
- female characters are never be sisters-in-arms to men (or other women)
- relationships between male characters and female characters are never forbidden and are always calm and uneventful and end in happiness and marriage. meanwhile, gay relationships are always tragic and starcrossed and exotic and exciting, like romeo and juli.... wait
- characters who are brothers-in-arms should never be fluffy together because they have no lives aside from danger and excitement
- everybody in fandom is trying to "escape" real life
- only married women in fandom would take offense to all of the above

(Did I get it all? Where is femslash in all of this, anyway? Or is that just a non-factor because no men are involved?)

If you like bromancy relationships, and slash happens to have more bromancy relationships in it and so you like slash better? Just fucking say that. I'd agree. But there's no need to be a misogynist, homophobic/gay-objectifying/exotifying moron while you do it. I guess you can't help that last part, though. If I were as dumb as you, I'd keep that a secret too. :)

Wasn't the whole point that standing up for yourself doesn't work? After the confrontation, Karofsky moved from slamming Kurt into lockers to threatening his life.

Don't get me wrong, I'm gay and have had major reservations about how this plotline has been handled, but they have managed to avoid this sort of victim blaming.

Wow I can relate. I know this guy I dislike because he's basically a hipster and he once announced that he loves Justice and I refused to like the song he played then. A while later I finally discovered the name of a song that I had only known the video of and it was D.A.N.C.E. so I had to admit that I liked the despite that. But I came to realise it was really silly of me.

Though seemingly they're not on my ipod anymore. Mh I guess I should download them again.

Anyway OP I hope you can learn to seperate the experience. I have a few songs or fanfictions I don't touch anymore because of some bad experiences with the author or artist or something but I hope I can get over those in future. I know it isn't easy though. Good luck!

Yeaaah, you might want to do something about that. Chances are if you like attractive characters you're going to be pretty jealous for a long time. You're not the first person to feel this way, but you have to remember the characters aren't real. And it can be fun to talk about the naughty things you'd want to do with others who like the characters, depending on what kind of fandom friends you have.

Then channel seven running commercials for a full week about how high the ratings were for that episode *eyeroll* I bet it was a proud moment for you, channel 7.

Though honestly, I've never really been a fan of Australian TV.

It's not that I don't want to support my country, it's just that...well, America steals all of our awesome actors/stories/ideas and then leaves us with absolute crap to put on our TV screens :/

Same here man. I generally hate anime but everyone was raving about this, so I gave it a try, and it turned out to be giant robots and jiggly tits just like every other bad anime I've seen. welp. maybe it gets better later but that immediately made it clear I wasn't the target audience, and the blatent fanservice is pretty much inexcusable.
