Is this about disney_kink? I mean, the picture would suggest it is, but you never know. The endless smut prompts thing doesn't really match up because the biggest complaint we get is that there isn't enough smut, haha. It would be a very weird coincidence if it wasn't D_K since you match up exactly with one certain user over there.

People prompt and fill what they want to prompt/fill. You prompt/fill what you want to prompt/fill. No one is entitled to get their prompts filled, srry2say. I wish there could be fills for everyone, but that doesn't happen. Some people never get fills at all, so you shouldn't complain about just getting three.

Is there a fandom separate from the kink meme? Are there other places to post fics that aren't just smut? Do you need to be prompted by someone else in order to write fic?

Because kink memes aren't the be-all and end-all of most fandoms, anon. They're just there to serve a particular function. If you want fic other than smut maybe going someplace other than the kink meme would be more productive.

For the question to be begged, the OP would have to be trying to make some kind of argument in which she makes in implicit conclusion that cannot be held to social assumptions or common knowledge.

I don't think I was being weird, but I was picking at a pet peeve. "Begging the question" is a phrase that is correctly used in debates when someone makes a circular argument. People often use it as you did, but I assure you, "one might ask why" is not what it means. It's a pet peeve, I probably shouldn't have answered at all but it makes me twitchy.

If smut on a kink meme bothers you, perhaps you should ask around and see if anyone wants to make a "general prompts" meme. I know it's common for there to be non-smut on kink memes, but it's kind of ridiculous to act as if smut is not its intended purpose.

Not sure what it's like in other fandoms but I know that the Supernatural fandom have a couple of different prompt memes rather than one standalone kink meme. If you're fed up of people only wanting smut, why not start your own gen or whatever meme?

I think its time for you to back away from the meme and go write your own stuff for a while. Just write and read things that you enjoy and stop worrying about being a one woman crusader for a better meme.

Just because you are burned out on smut doesn't mean fandom is. But since you are, stop reading it and go and scour the rest of fandom for the stuff you like. Remember not everyone writes for the meme.
