I agree with you there. I find myself obsessing/crushing on fictional men in my fandoms all the time--but IRL I have no interest in men. I've tried being in a relationship with a couple of guys before (because I was scared of being a lesbian) and it literally sickened me to the point where I couldn't do it. All of my sexual experiences that I *enjoyed* were with women, as were any relationships I have that mean anything.

And yet, I still think cartoon men are sexy. :x I've given up on labelling myself at this point, but if I have to, I call myself a "tentative lesbian." In my long history, only one person has defriended me for it.

Not much validation, I guess, but you're not alone~

I'm where you are. Except I'm ftm trans, so someday I'll be "mostly straight." I'm 99.9 interested in women, but yes, fictional men are cool, and I do have a few crushes on Gackt, Hyde, Masi Oka. . . mostly pretty/nerdy Asian guys. I'm emotionally much more compatible with non-total femme strong women (and I'm much more likely to meet someone who is that than someone who looks like Gackt or Hyde), though, and sexually, the thought of ever being penetrated makes me wince.
