(Anonymous) 2007-06-02 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)Disclaimer: I'd really like to call myself a lesbian, but I feel that my fandom crushes prevent that. Please tell me they don't make me any less gay; I need anonymous Internet validation by someone I don't think I've ever met.

I am here with your validation.
I don't think it makes you any less gay. What matters is what you think, not what the world thinks, after all. I went through a similar identity/sexuality crisis, and let me tell you, it's not worth the stressing over whether you're a "real" lesbian or not. If you like girls, you like girls. I don't think fictional characters count, because with fictional characters, it's usually the personalities and quirks that endear them to people, not necessarily whether they're a hot piece of ass or not (well, in most cases amirite).

But I agree. I want nothing more than Gai's 2D penis inside of me. And I want nothing less than a real penis inside of me.

I mean, I consider myself a pretty big homo, and I still find some real men attractive, but it's sort of like how straight girls will gush and twitter about how hot and sexy Female Actor X is.
idk, lol.

No, I still will go "DAYUM HE FOINE" (in that exact accent, too) to a really sexy hunky father or manly man...but it's the look but don't want to touch thing.
I only want to touch when I see boobies and vayjays.

But I don't mind looking at guro art and admire the creativity of some of the works. :>

And yet, I still think cartoon men are sexy. :x I've given up on labelling myself at this point, but if I have to, I call myself a "tentative lesbian." In my long history, only one person has defriended me for it.
Not much validation, I guess, but you're not alone~
