It's fine if you buy on eBay! I've actually done that a few times myself, when I haven't had time to sew. Just ask around on various LJ cosplay communities and make sure that the person you're going to buy from is worth the money. ♥

Yeah, but in DoC he was kind of ridiculously evil. In the game he's sort of evilly badass...and in DoC he might as well have been tying Lucrecia to the train tracks while twirlling his mustache. XD Srsly.

true (though i find it weird that it isn't) but i dunno, if someones being an uber creepy pedo and stuff, or practically admitting to being a supporter to it and stuff.. i think thats pretty alarm worthy. or atleast very very not comfortable to have around! i dunno. its fine as a fetish or whatnot, and gosh knows how often i joke about that stuff, but why broadcast it?

Funny thing is, writing chan/shota/incest/whatever unethical sex act you can imagine is perfectly legal.* Freedom of speech, y'know. (And yes, I understand that lj, as a private enterprise, has every right to disallow whatever speech it does not like. However we, as paying customers, just as equally have every right to decide we do not like their policies and threaten a massive fannish exodus.)

Bottom line: writing about an illegal act ≠ committing an illegal act.

*Of course, if the work in question is a derivative piece (read: fanfiction) then it becomes not-so-legal, for reasons that have everything to do with copyright and nothing to do with sex. This is true of even the most sparkling, squeaky-clean, smut-free fic out there.

Does everyone that fangirls a digimon or pokemon character or a naruto (pre timeskip) character constitute as a pedo to you then? If someone has a crush on Sonic or Pepe le pew does that mean they want to fuck real hedgehogs and skunks? Creepy as shota and loli may be, ...well, you get where i'm going with this since you've probably heard the rant tons of times :P and I don't want to waste your time ♥ there's nothing wrong with being creeped out by the stuff, but it's artistic license and freedom (however LJ does have a right to choose what to and what not to allow...but a sudden random change in policy with no previous warning was what made that all so fucked up)
