Not that I'm complaining (I'm in the "don't mind" camp, but I have a slight preference for 6-7 AM), it just seems... weird.

It isn't convenient, no. I mean, I'd have to get up before 6AM to do it. If the majority is clearly voting for that time slot though, I'd be willing.

The confusion was in what the "don't care" votes meant: did they mean "do what was convenient for me" or "I will go with whichever time slot has more votes"? This poll should be clearer about that.

yeah, and one of those is the person running it. At least if he had the honesty to rule by fiat and just say "this is what we're doing" instead of trying to justify it by dodgy polls which can be interpreted to suit it would have been a decision you could respect. Everyone chip in a dollar/euro/yen other monetary donation and then we can buy Technophile a laptop that is his exclusive 'updating-srs-bznz' laptop. That way he can bring it to work and during lunch go find a net cafe and update fandom!secrets.

We'd have to chip in for the monthly cost of using a net cafe too, but I think that's worth it so that the time doesn't change and the most people are happy!
