It's not the same thing! The 8-11 timeslot is the one with the LEAST VOTES. The "don't care" votes aren't the same as voting for that, come on. This is called rigging, JSYK.

They pretty much are the same thing as voting 8-11 if Case is saying that's the time that's convenient for him...

maybe we need an option for technophile to pass on the community to someone else then. It is a question of trust and character, if he is prepared to cheat on the public votes what is he prepared to do behind the scenes?

He didn't "cheat". Cheating would be creating a ton of sock puppets and stacking the votes; or getting all his friends to do the same thing. He interpreted the votes as he believed everyone else would; he had no idea that this community was full of so many morons that they couldn't understand what he meant. As far as I'm concerned, the fact that he's been willing to do this THREE times for you people, just to clarify and make sure everything is fair, speaks a great deal towards his character.

If the majority of the people didn't care as long as it updated, I would probably just keep going with what was best for me.

It probably would have been better if the third option was 'I don't care, just keep updating when you usually do', but now that we have a two-option poll I think that will clear things up once and for all.

And really, what's the big deal about when it updates? You don't get to be the first person to comment on the secret?

I won't say I've lost faith in him, but this is just getting annoying.

I can understand why 12-2 was vetoed because it turned out it wouldn't work.

However, the last poll was pretty clear that amongst people who had a preference, 6-7 was the preferred time. So why are we getting another poll? It just seems like he's pushing the community vote in the direction of the time he wants in order to say that it was the community's choice on the chance that anyone complains. Sorry, man, if you put up a poll you risk the chosen option being the one you don't prefer. At least try the 6-7 timeslot :\ It seems like he made the choice to go with 8-11 before the poll was even over given that we've never gotten a 6-7 AM post, so just go with that without having to try and rig it to look like the popular choice among people who actually care.
