I... Half-agree? Sometimes it can be a bit silly. Like if someone's talking about what they're going to cook for dinner tonight and put a trigger warning on it (for those with eating disorders) because it mentions food. Or they post a secret and put a trigger warning on it because there's an ice cream cone in the background.

The only other one that really bothers me that I can think of off the top of my head is warnings for "mental illness." It seems rude to those who have them, like saying "your existence gives me panic attacks."

I see warnings for mental illness as being warnings put up for the benefit of those who have mental illnesses, not for other people. Some of us with mental illness, or with friends/family who have mental illnesses, don't always react well to coming upon a serious mention of mental illness where we wouldn't expect it, or upon reminders of what kind of havoc mental illness has wreaked in our life (being sent to a psychiatric hospital, seeing loved ones turn into zombies due to meds, and so on). I know that every once in a while, when I come across something like that unwarned, I get depressed and overwhelmed, and I have to back-button hard and spend the next half hour doing something to lift my spirits up again - and that's a very mild reaction...
