Identify as you.

Sexuality is fluid, if you believe you've changed in some way that isn't a scary thing nor a bad thing. Explore this side of yourself. Would you feel as equally aroused if you had displayed yourself rather than your writing? Test some things out but please, don't feel like you've been living a lie - yo'uve just discovered something new about yourself and that isn't wrong.

I think the OP feels like they've been living a lie because, generally, the asexual community is constantly fighting the notion that they're just 'broken' people who need to find a way to reach their sexuality. It's become a bone of contention, and many claim they will NEVER EVER change and they will always be asexual as a defense mechanism and as an effort to legitimize themselves. So when someone who has identified as asexual then does have sexual feelings, they can feel like they're a liar, or someone who is letting down the community and proving to the world they're just another one of THOSE asexuals who wasn't really asexual.

It's similar to someone who identifies as gay who then ends up falling into a heterosexual relationship, and who is worried they'll be seen as vindicating the idea that gay people just need to find the 'right' hetero to turn them, etc. You worry what you do is somehow reflecting on your community.

However, you have to eventually realize you can't live for your community, only for yourself.
