i didn't realize that rose was the doctors love interest, tbh. i just thought they were best friends, and she was also kind of in love with him, mostly just bffs though. i feel like i'm watching this show totally wrong.

I actually sorta thought this when I watched part of Series 1 & 2, with things not really coming to a "head" until the last episode of Series 4. (It's sorta like I "underestimated" the romance!)
