When he goes into shrink mode, that's how I think of him talking me through things.

My panic attacks are waaaaaay down and my usual triggers hardly affect me anymore. Sure, it's willpower and confidence and all that, but thinking of him talking me through it started it.

I think you're misdating this, or maybe just forgetting that a lot of us were in fandom before young adulthood. I was in my early teens in the late 90s and I was all up on newsgroups and mailing lists all over the place. LJ wasn't a thing until I was well into high school and I'd already been online/in fandom for years at that point.

Absolutely! I love it when actors and directors can come together on successful, creative collaborations (such as QT/Uma and Cronenberg/Mortensen), but Johnny needs to do something different. He has the range for it, so I'd love to see him work beyond the comfort zone he seems to be in right now.
