I used to think this way too, anon. I'm not a fighter, and I just don't have the survival skills to survive outside a civilization with microwaves and working plumbing - I even fail at camping. Most of all, the whole idea of zombies terrify the ever living hell out of me. Dead things coming back to eat my brains? NO THANK YOU.

And then I remembered...I can outrun them! =D

Now it's not so bad. I just make sure to go for a run every day, to stay healthy. But it helps me delude myself into believing I could survive. They can't eat you if they can't catch you, and I've got a bike I can carry/hop on with little difficulty. XD

I know :) I understood their point. Plus I didn't say it was a typo, I merely pointed out they forgot a part of the word. And it is a simple mistake, just substitute the with with (LOL) without, otherwise they must be dying right now in whatever country they are in with working microwaves and plumbing.

Well, not exactly a typo but a simple mistake :) Everyone makes them.

It's not a mistake though. "just don't have the survival skills to survive outside a civilization with microwaves and working plumbing." It means that they do have the survival skills to live in a civilization with microwaves and working plumbing, but in no other context. It would need to be "without" if the sentence was "just don't have the survival skills to survive in a world without microwaves and working plumbing" but that's not what the sentence is.
