(Anonymous) 2011-06-05 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)I had a crush on a guy for months, and he asked me once if I had a crush on him and really asked me to tell the truth and I told. He said he was in love with someone else and apologized to me for not returning the feelings but wanted to keep our friendship. I did the only thing I could as a friend. I wished him luck with her. I still have this stupid crush and it still hurts but I try to make everything for him not to notice I still have feeling for him, even if it hurts as hell

(Anonymous) 2011-06-05 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)My initial comment was a sarcastic reaction to the people saying how awful it is for someone to tell a friend her/his feelings. They're making it out to be some monstrous, victimizing thing, but it's really not like that at all -- not unless the party with feelings tries to force the other party into something. I also feel that they aren't taking into account the perspective of those such as yourself. Falling in love with a friend is no picnic.
