The comics are much gayer... But Charles doesn't have HAIR! How can there be love between a bald man and Magneto?!

Honestly, though, I'm re-reading some Ultimate X-Men* and I'd almost forgotten how amazingly slashy it is. Mind-wiped Magneto hugging a crying Professor X in his chair while a butterfly takes flight in the foreground. How great is that?


*Warning: the first Ultimate X-men stories are really terrible (writing and art).

Some artists manage to make Xavier's baldness really attractive, though, especially in the 80s. The good thing about being bald is that no one can draw you with a mullet.

Ultimate X-Men, however, will traumatize you with Xavier's head (http://images.wikia.com/marveldatabase/images/2/25/Ultimate_X-Men_Vol_1_12.jpg).
