I feel the exact same way. He drives me insane.

IA. He's supposed to be villainous, I guess, and he succeeds there. But that doesn't mean he's funny.

Anyone can be OTT and obnoxious. That =/= comedy.

I did like it when he snarf'd himself in response to Abed's iceburns in the Mean Girls episode.

I don't like him either and was quite surprised that he became such a popular character on the show.

He can be funny, but in small doses. I like him a lot better in the first season when he didn't show up nearly as much.

My opinion regarding him seems to vary from appearance to appearance (also, I need to catch up on this show). I definitely do not currently consider him a favourite, anycase.

Such a horrible Asian stereotype.

I hope they pay the actor well to play him.

I don't get it either. How is he a stereotype of an Asian bloke? He's flawed in many ways, but none of which scream "typically Asian" if there is such a thing, to me.

How so? I've only seen the first season, but his character doesn't really hit any of the Asian stereotypes (genius student, wise old mentor, domineering parent, etc.) that I'm aware of.

lol, SADLY I think Community is one of Ken Jeong's more sensitive roles. When he jumped out of the trunk in Hangover I wanted to puke :\

In the first season he was way too god-mode so I didn't like him, but season two making him the butt of jokes made him more bearable imo.

He IS very annoying, and completely bat-shit crazy. That's why I love him, but I can see how he could be annoying, too.

aw. I loved Senor Chang (he's less funny in this season imo) but I get how he could just get on one's nerves.

He was incredibly annoying in Season one. Less so in season two though, I thought. But still my least favourite character in Community.

I think he's hilarious, but I can see why others wouldn't like him.

If Chang were a real teacher, I'm pretty sure a lot of students would be hitting him. Luckily, he is not.

Sadly, there were episodes the second season where Chang was the only one who was making me laugh. And wow, is that depressing. I don't know if I'll even bother with next season, frankly.
