"Moe" doesn't really have a satisfactory English translation, though. Which is why we stole the Japanese word, and are now assimilating it into becoming an English word.

English mugs other languages and steals their vocabulary whenever possible. Get used it it, we've been doing it for a long time.

and to be fair, Japanese steals words from other languages all the time, too. Probably all languages do, actually, but I never studied enough of another language (other than Hellenistic Greek, which... doesn't count) to really know.

French is trying to beat English out with a stick pftt but yeah, most languages have overlap thievery, especially on more modern words.
Seeing as everyone knows what 'moe' means, I'd say it's entered the English language. :)
