I'm so excited that the 3D fad is dying. Financial backers are finally starting to notice that the vast majority of moviegoers at best resent 3D, and at worst actively loathe it. Theatre numbers are backing it up. Stock analysts are starting to advise clients to dump their RealD stock.

We're seeing HP at midnight, at a 2D showing. Our theatre sold out eight midnight 2D shows, but neither of their 2 midnight 3D showings has sold out yet.

Same here. I am one of those people who actively loathe it, because I don't like paying extra for getting nausea, disorientation and headaches. I can't wait to see it quietly die.
