Oh good grief. The audience of one movie showing does not represent the gender ratio of viewers--or, for that matter, the audience demographics in general. I went to see I Am Number 4 with a friend a couple days after it came out. Wanna know the audience makeup for that movie showing? It was just us. Nobody else went to that showing. We didn't have a meltdown because it was "obviously not meant for" men/women/any audience at all, or feel ashamed that (according the audience--or lack thereof) we had apparently picked such an awful movie that the theater was empty save for us. That would be pretty ridiculous.

If the audience makeup bothers you to the point of being unable to enjoy a movie, maybe you should consider waiting 'til it comes out on DVD.
