Wow, you're an idiot. Do you even know what "fat acceptance" means? It doesn't mean telling people that they're healthy when they're not. It means being against tormenting people for superficial and shallow reasons and for minding your own fucking business regarding other people's bodies and health. Some overweight people actually are healthy, it is possible. Otherwise, what do you expect people to do? If you're overweight, you don't just think to yourself "I want to lose weight and be ~healthy~" one day and then magically become thin the next day. Weight loss is a long and difficult process that takes years and is extremely difficult. And you know what? Having everyone around you harassing you and mocking you doesn't prompt you to want to lose weight any faster. It makes you miserable. It makes you doubt yourself. It makes you think you'll never be able to succeed in losing weight. It makes you paranoid that, even if you do, you still won't be good enough, or that people who look at you will be able to tell that you used to be fat and judge you for it. It actually drives people to suicide sometimes.

So sorry, but I don't understand why fat acceptance isn't already a thing. Who the fuck are you helping by mocking and ridiculing them?

OP is stating to be against fat acceptance.

Fat acceptance doesn't mean telling people that it's perfectly okay to be obese, and here you just enjoy these potato chips, it doesn't matter, etc. Fat acceptance is a movement to not harass and ridicule people due to their body size, and to generally mind your own business when it comes to other people's weight.

To be against such a movement is inherently to be in favor of mocking and harassment.

oh wow, thank you so very much for being so thoughtful and kind. because I totally have not noticed that I am overweight and am not doing something about it! so thank you for pointing it out! wow, without you, I would never have realized! so thank you for this, and now pardon me while I go engage in self-harm because you also helped me realize that I am a disgusting, worthless person due to the way I appear. I'll be happy to die so that you don't have to be oh-so-disgusted! I'm sure suicide will be much better for my health than fat, right?
