F!S Anon Meme (the Fifth)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

(LJ's still lagging here and there, good luck.)

1. For me, it's more a matter of "How do people write stories in 2,000 words or less?" I don't always write fic, but when I do, I crank out stories that are 10K-25K words in length. (Pardon the meme, but it really does state my quandry well.) Doesn't matter the fandom, the number of characters or major plotline. It's always rather lengthy. Because of that, I may only write one or two stories a year, which means I hardly get comments. I've decided, though, that I'm okay with it on the account that I really do prefer writing longer pieces.

I kind of wish I were you. I can hardly get anything past the 5k meter without seriously running low on inspiration and focus. >>;
