F!S Anon Meme (the Fifth)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

(LJ's still lagging here and there, good luck.)

I think the only mpreg I ever sort of enjoyed was a Doctor Who one (I remember that it explained how the mpreg worked, I just don't remember the explanation). It was Master/Doctor with the Master forcing the Doctor to carry the baby so they could continue the Time Lord legacy or something and it was creepy as hell and didn't pretend to be anything else. I wish I had bookmarked it...

Well, Timelords have two hearts. Why not a spare uterus as well? XD

Hey, why not?

At least in fandoms like Doctor Who it can be made semi plausible (fuck, it's canon in Star Trek Enterprise). But I hate seeing it happen randomly in fandoms like Glee or CSI with little to no explanation

i read a really good harry potter one that involved an ancient law where where if you kill the last of a line, their family can invoke this law that forces you to bear them a new heir -- even if you're a guy, because they have a ritual to enable that. THAT i liked because it had an interesting explanation (not just "hey they have magic who cares how difficult it'd still be") and it was really serious about all of it and the implications.

Which one was that? :D

Wait, awkward question, but if you kill the last of the line, then that implies there's no family LEFT in that line...right?

So who enacts the ritual? o__o;
