OH MY GOD THANK YOU. I'm sorry but I just can't stand her art style. I usually don't mind art styles that much but her art just makes me rage. I'm sorry.

Art like this is the reason why I could never get into yaoi manga. Well, that and the unoriginal plots and the vague as hell porn.

That being said, I have come across some highly original, hot, and well drawn yaoi manga in the past. It's just so hard to find that when I want yaoi, I stick to doujinshi of a series I like. At least then I'm already invested in the characters (and the porn tends to be dirtier, lol).

I think she's gotten much better in SH; even comparing the most recent volumes of each, I find SH's art just worlds better for some reason maybe she farms most of it out to the assistants??

She still has a lot to work on (the HANDS, the kisses that look like the seme gnawing off the uke's face), but I've grown much more okay with looking at her art style than I was in the first few volumes of JR *shudder*

Also wondering how the OP feels about the anime style, then? *genuinely curious*

That's why I can't read most yaoi manga - I'd rather go for doujinshi because, quite honestly, it's drawn a hell of a lot better.

THIS. Seriously Usagi's fucking face (and the faces of all her semes, actually)...just...ARGH. It's so ugly. That uber-long, skinny face-chin looks horrible. Not to mention those monstrous hands. Her ukes aren't much better but at least I can tolerate how they look, though I can never tell them apart cause they all look the same.

Seriously, what the FUCK is this art style? SO GODDAMN HIDEOUS. Is seems like every other yaoi manga I pick up at the bookstore is drawn in this art style, and it makes me shelve it again instantly even if the plot seems up my alley.
