He needs an editor and a proofreader. There were so many silly spelling errors in aDwD and lots of weird continuity errors. Granted, this is because it was rushed into print, which wouldn't have been a problem if he'd left out a few descriptions of boring-ass Victarion being butthurt about his brother and "taking" his "dusky woman".

Martin especially needs an editor (or some form of quality control) in his sex scenes. In aDwD, he basically repeated the same thing for an Asha sex scene and a Dany sex scene, i.e. that they were so into the fucking that they couldn't tell where they left off and the guy they were banging began. That's a total cliche in itself. Seriously, V.C. Andrews wrote better sex than Martin. At least she never referred to anyone's junk as a "fat pink mast" and seemed to know the difference between nipples and areolas.
