I'm only vaguely familiar with the tropes that hurt women thing, so I can't speak to that with authority, but from what I have seen... she never claims anyone is trying to fuck up women on purpose. What I've seen is her saying that some tropes and cliches are harmful to women, and often prevent them from being fully realized characters. It's talking about media culture that needs to be examined and addressed--not accusing anyone of being so actively antiwoman that they're plotting how to hurt women, reinforce negative stereotypes, or kick puppies.
