I think the number of commenters who don't know what you mean by "epics" proves your point.

And I have the same problem (although I circumvented it by writing long one-shots and ignoring most of my epic ideas). I wish so, so much I hadn't dropped out of fandom during the late 90s. I missed the best part. :(

Hey, 6. Just wondering if you actually had the material to make an "epic" or if you just wrote a long, boring tome where nothing happened for five hundred pages besides your character slowly getting dressed and gazing morosely out of a rain-dappled window as they thought about trauma they'd lived through. Because that was shit ten years ago, too.

However, if you wrote something as amazing as Go Not Gently, I will gay marry (because you're probably a girl) you right here and now, two years after your secret post.
