12. Awww~

14. LOL FMA!HITLER

16. If you'd be devastated then I hope you expect them to be devastated too. You don't have to stop hanging out with fandom friends to get non-fandom friends. Sheesh.

19. ♥

Too Big: VIC IS IN AIR?!??!? sjlhgasljfajsgasjgalsga OMG ♥

Oh yeah, and 12:
Toph and Iroh are awesome. Their first meeting is one of the best scenes in the show.

5. Holy crap, I'm listening to that song right now. o_o;;

21. I had an internet boyfriend (lol, big mistake) who decided to lie to me about who he was. One day, after telling me that he was a straight Catholic, he was all "oh by the way, I'm a bisexual Buddhist lololol" and I dumped him for being dishonest to me. But since then I've sworn off bisexual guys for that very reason - I'm not gonna take it well if my SO decides to run off with someone else, and if the pickings are doubled there's gonna be more of a chance of that happening.

Yeah, I'm way too scared of getting hurt. So sue me.

(Anonymous) 2007-06-24 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
...No. They're not doubled. There are dishonest bisexuals and there are faithful bisexuals, and just because someone has the potential to be attracted to both sexes doesn't necessarily mean they're attracted to more people. There are some really picky bisexuals who are attracted to a small amount of people only and some straight/gay people who are attracted to a lot of different people.

Besides, a straight/gay person can lie, too.

1. I find writing my novel and own original characters way easier than fics. There's no demands from any fanbase because it's YOUR story, there's no problems with keeping your characters 'in character' because they're your own creations and... damn, two or three long, detailed comments > fandom comments... for me, at least.

11. These games are looking at me from my "to play" pile of PS2 games. I wish I could find time to play them +_+;;;

20. I'm in two fandom RPs and honestly? I'm SO scared being there in case I screw up and getting used to LJ-based gaming is hard. I'm pretty happy to say that OC RPing always wins over fandom for me. If you find some OC RPs going on take me with you? :(

21. From semi-personal experience but not exactly... Damn, it's a rough road and I'm so sorry ._. I hope you get over him sooner rather than later and find love again ♥

30. All I can say to this one is: Maka-Maka? :) That should lift your worries of your shipping, hopefully.

[identity profile] artillie.livejournal.com 2007-06-25 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
I ship Nene/Jun so hard. Sex in public places FTW.

[identity profile] cinnamon-sakaki.livejournal.com 2007-06-24 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
10 - I'm in the HP fandom and I absolutely agree that His Dark Materials is better. I read all three recently and was blown away (again!) by the loveliness of the writing.

13 - Hatori's adorable. Nothing to be ashamed of!

19 - Hiro/Charlie is adorable. I'm a slasher at heart too but their relationship is so very cute.

[identity profile] pretentioustfu.livejournal.com 2007-06-24 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
16: I'd tell you to fuck off except that you're in high school and I could go to jail for that since I'm 23 ~_^ Yes, you are shallow, and honestly, on behalf of your friends, I'll say they're probably happy you left. I know I sure would be rather than be "friends" with someone who was ashamed I existed and embarrassed by me. Also, while I don't think anyone *needs* a reason to gafiate, you seem to be doing it out of wanting superiority and attention for being "not one of those nerds," which is just pathetic.

19: Aww. Charlie/Hiro/Ando OT3 *kicks Princess Sue Keriyama*

21: Whoa. Way to insult bi people. Straight people do the same thing (dump people because there's someone they're more interested in to date) and it's not your fault or his. It doesn't even mean he loved you less. Blame society that's taught us all this nonsense about One True Loves and that we must choose our One True Love now and plan for the future NOW. Love is an industry. >_< As hard as it might be to think of it this way, be thankful it ended now instead of your getting married and it ending then. Breakups may not be less emotionally traumatic than divorces, but financially and socially, divorce a few years down the road would have hurt a lot more.

25: WORD. I'm so sick of "I write X so I'm a BETTER writer." Writing gen or het does not, in and of itself, make you smarter, more mature, or anything else other than a gen or het writer.

29: OMG IS THAT JET? WHO'S HE WITH?

3. My first RP character was Erika. I turned her into a Team Rocket member to be with this guy's OC. It was fun, it was on Yahoo! chat. Good times.

20. What J-music? I listen to some pretty obscure J-Pop myself.

(Anonymous) 2007-06-25 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
20. :
I'm scared of saying directly, because if one of my friends wanders in and finds me they will know EXACTLY who I am, but...
The biggest Jpop fandom I have is a guy who sang an anime OP and then everyone forot about him. The smallest is a dance artist (http://www.yusukemomose.com) who has a tiny fanbase even in Japan.

12 - Awwwwww. :) That's great.

8. I can't even read this secret. Can anyone else make it out?

12. That's awesome. Re: PPS: Well...yes.

14. I seriously could not. stop. laughing. at the picture you used for this. ♥

16. Wanting more non-fandom friends is one thing, but making those friends by giving up the things you love and dumping your fandom friends is truly pathetic. You're obviously extremely insecure. Either have more confidence in who you are and what you like or GTFO.

21. That sucks, I'm sorry.

23. ROFL! Yes.

26. Ouch.

28. I'd always wondered why people ever came OUT of the holodeck.

6 - As in epic length fanfic? If those are out of style, that's a sad thing...then again I do see lots of drabbles these days.
10 - I both look forward to and fear that movie coming out. I'm afraid they'll orient it too much towards kids or just not do it justice.
12 - Yay! Toph and Iroh!
21 - I went through something similar, so I sympathize, but...Next time, work on your wording.
28 - Screw reality, give me a holodeck that can combine all my favorite series into one and cast me as the main character.

19. Fucking word. I like Hiro/Ando too, but they seem to just work better to me as friends. Hiro/Charlie was one of the stories that actually made me cry. T_T I will ship it forever and ever even though she's dead and that makes it kinda creepy. Stfu.

28. FUCK YES!

I LOVE Barclay! HAHAHA I know the secret is more about what he actually did in that episode, but damn he was like my favorite side character. I felt sorry for him and really don't blame him for making all those creepy Holodeck programs. DX Man I was flipping out when he made a guest appearance in that one Voyager episode where the Doctor gets sent to the Alpha Quadrant to treat the guy who came up with his programming.

Man, I need to watch more Star Trek. *not quite a Trekkie yet*

To #1: A few years ago, I wouldn't have agreed at all. Nowadays, after years of trying -- and failing miserably -- to do a novel, I agree completely. Rock on, and I'll rock with you.

To #2: All I can say is that I'm sympathetic. I hope it works out for you two. (Good choice of picture, BTW.)

To #3: Be proud of where you began. :-)

To #4: Now that you say it, I can see it. ... That's cool.

To #8: Holmes and Watson! Some say slash began with them.

To #11: I owe you an apology, then. I asked FFN to change the Persona section into a general Megami Tensei section so that all those DDS 'fics could have a home, and my request was granted.

To #14: Hey, if you can field that ball, go for it.

To #15: Guy Gardner, yes? The black sheep of the Green Lantern Corps. Gotta like him.

To #16: This is why high school sucks. Get to college, then enjoy your hobbies freely.

To #17: I didn't look back, and I have no regrets.

To #19: You win. That was one of my favorite parts of the first season.

To #25: *applause* Both types of 'fic are just fine.

To #30: ^_^ No shame in 'H' stuff. Some of my favorite anime / manga characters come from 'H' dating sims and the like.

[identity profile] cephiedvariable.livejournal.com 2007-06-25 12:12 am (UTC)(link)

i also think it's better than harry potter, but then again i loathe harry potter, so i think everything is better than that stupid series.

16. Sometimes I miss High School.

So thank you, sincerely, for reminding me how irritating it is. The way people care so inexplicably and deeply about what other people think. I'd feel a little sorry for you because, yeah, I've definitely had "obnoxious" fandom friends (the single minded ones, y'know, who don't really have much other substance to their social interaction no matter how much you try to prod them and show them that you're NOT going to make fun of them), though I've always stuck it out with them because, what the hell, *everyone* needs friends (and they were much less annoying than the kids in my English class who talked about NOTHING but MJ brownies and the 9th graders they wanted to nail).

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, what you're doing to your friends? I've had done to me. And I wouldn't wish that shit upon anyone.

BUT I MUST ADD

[identity profile] cephiedvariable.livejournal.com 2007-06-25 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
What I mean is: I'm not saying you should stay pity friends with people you HONESTLY don't like, or who honestly bug you enough that you don't know why you're friends with them.

But if you do still enjoy them as people, and you're only ditching them for temporary High School popularity? That's a little disgusting and I honestly, sincerely hope you regret it.

Lol, lol, yeah, yeah, I'm a high and mighty judgmental bitch. But for fuck's sake, High School is *three fucking years*, why is there this perception that the *entirety* of one's social life must revolve around it? I didn't even know who the goddamn student council president was. Not to say I didn't have a ton of friends- because I did. Just they were all losers to. Except that one who wasn't, but we forgave her.

SRY, SRY. I'LL STOP THE HIGH AND MIGHTY ACT NOW.

FOLLOW YOUR HEART. WHEREVER THE WIND TAKES YOU.

WHATEVER.

7. Joe is cuuuute. I didn't really care much for him until Gomamon digivolved into Ikkakumon the first time and I was like, "JOE'S SO BADASS!" He's sweet. :3

10. I'M EXCITED FOR THE MOVIE STFU. I BET IT'LL BE BAD OR CHANGED A LOT (please, us North Americans can't handle fictional stories that deal with God and religion) BUT I'M GONNA SEE IT ANYWAY BECAUSE IT'S MY FAVORITE SERIES.

But HDM > HP? Uh... well, for me yes but everyone's got their favorites.

18. [livejournal.com profile] ileenka? She's an idiot, ignore her honey. She's not worth the time. She went as far as saying Ichigo "doesn't care anymore for Orihime" and I was like, "O RLY? WHY HE STILL IN HUECO MUNDO THEN?"

10. What's wrong with Daniel Craig? I kept hearing stupid people whining about him playing James Bond -- and yet he turned out to be the best James Bond and yes I am a longtime hardcore fan of that series. Also, I've mentioned this before, but while HDM is better than HP it's almost in all likelihood the popularity of HP that made filmmakers want to finally make a film about HDM. Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and Eva Green together, regardless of my thoughts on the books, I'll go see it. I'd watch Eva Green read the NYC phone directory.
