Judging by the terrifying number of women (teenagers and upwards) who seemed to think Flynn was a jerk for daring to cut her pretty hair to save her from a lifetime of imprisonment or should have somehow cut her hair more neatly and at a lower point (never mind that it wouldn't have been taut enough if he hadn't cut it fairly close to her scalp), I'm guessing there are a lot of people out there who prefer Rapunzel with long hair.

For the record, I think she looks lovely with both! :)

I don't want to have a long drawn out discussion about this, but "long hair to short hair" is not the complaint I generally see. That usually goes along the lines of "he took away her choice by cutting her hair." Slightly different.

(Not that ridiculous fans of long hair don't exist, but they're hardly the bulk of that debate.)

The big thing that bothered me about how he cut her hair is it wouldn't have been long in the front and short in the back. Instead it came out perfectly cute.

I mean I like her long hair more, but I knew how that story ended before seeing it.
