But seriously, when I was a kid and had my father bring home Boy Scout patches for camping out in the winter when I was a kid, I had long hair and had more "adventures" than most young boys my age. Not to mention my mom was a tomboy with long hair as well and that never stopped her from doing what she wanted. When did hair become so important?
As for Elena, I think her character is more important than her design. She understands and complements Drake about as well as Sully does, who has been partners with Drake for years, and none of that has anything to do with her hair style. Seems like a small feature to get stuck over.
P.S. - What about Chloe?
