In real life lions, cats, dogs and all other kind of animals can have..do incest and that's just it. That's true and there's nothing wrong with it. Stop implying people's rules onto animals. Our genetics works it the other way.. When a brother and sister have a child - that's an abomination, ugly, has some sicknesses or mental illnesses. But when two lions who are siblings have a baby - that's just another lion. Their genetics works this way.

Wow, I feel sorry for those children born from sibling parents that you just called ugly wrote off as "abominations". Man, that's harsh.
It's not like it's their fault. (and while children born from parents who are siblings end up with a much higher risk of congenital defects and other health problems than the general population, some of the are still born healthy or relatively healthy. Though, to be clear, I'm definitely not endorsing incest)

To be fair, even incest (between siblings) is generally avoided amongst all species if it can be helped (e.g. if there is a sister and a stranger to mate with, animals will generally gravitate away from the sibling). Because even though it's more common amongst animals to mate with family, theres still the chance of genetic defects. Most mutated or genetically defected cubs are killed at birth to prevent the chance of becoming a threat to the pride.
