12. J-Rock fans are the most annoyingest things in the world. Especially Guro fans because "WE'RE SO UNIQUE". I love J-Rock but I'm glad I got out of that stupid phase. Bring back the good, old J-Rock.

33. ILU. It's annoying when people HAVE to slash two guys just even if they are the biggest enemies in the entire world just because "there's too much het" or they're not satisfied with the series. I get fanfiction and stuff but not making shrines and writing Ship Manifestos about it. :/ You know the "Why can't a guy and a girl be just friends?" Why can't two guys be just friends? I love yaoi and shounen-ai but a series can be about every guy in the entire world is madly in love with one girl but then people will just start slashing male characters as soon as they become friends or rivals.

Okay, I understand being annoyed by it, it'd be nice if people could appreciate friendships and not automatically see OMG SECKS!!! especially if a close relationship is so platonic it hurts. But subtext is in the eye of the beholder, and one beholder isn't superior or inferior for seeing or not seeing it. Just because two characters are Just Friends doesn't mean people are stupid for thinking they could be more.

Also, people do that with heterosexual friendships, too. Mulder/Scully, anyone?

33. Funny, I think the exact same thing, but when it comes to male and female characters. And in that case, it usually has a canon basis, too. There are very few people who an deal with the idea that men and women can relate without having to be fucking.

33. I enjoy House and Wilson as friends, and I enjoy House/Cuddy, and I enjoy the idea of there being something more between House and Wilson. ♥ But I don't enjoy you.

As others have pointed out before me, crazed slashfen may be happy to pair the hell out of any two guys who talk, but this is what fandom does: they make relationships out of everything. Two guys who hate each other? Slash! Guy and a girl who are long-time friends? OTP!

And honey, believe you me, they have done it for far, far less likely pairings. I think the majority of the time, the one guy hasn't had wives leave him over his friendship with another man. Just saying that if you're shocked and outraged that people ship them, you should maybe find a fandom without that kind of slashfen bait right out in the open.
