If it was written by someone with more talent, then Edward's abusive behavior and Bella's unhealthy dependence on him might actually be portrayed as bad things. (Actually, I like to think that a better writer would have ended the series at New Moon, with Bella either ending up with a non-wolf Jacob or, better yet, learning that she can in fact live a fulfilling life without Edward.)

I also didn't like Angel/Buffy, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that I can't stand Angel unless Buffy's not around.

Twilight series should never have had so many books. I've always stated that the series would had been better if Bella ended up with Jake and realized that you shouldn't throw away your life for immortality. Oh, the what ifs..
