In western culture, female sexuality has largely been defined by men - what we like, what we want, how we are supposed to respond and behave, etc. Men have convinced themselves, and many women, that female sexuality is not "visual" and is all about romance. Hence the cultural beliefs that women do not like porn unless it's soft-core romantic stuff - because we're supposed to be all about the story, not the visual. Thus, how could we possibly like seeing two men get each other off? There's no role for us to play in the happy-ever-after scenario there, so it must be purely visceral - but that doesn't make sense because we're not supposed to work that way. So , if we like it, there must be something wrong with us.

This. I've never liked any of the "female-friendly" porn I've been seen, I just don't find it as appealing as "regular" porn. Apparently, this makes me a bad woman.

Western culture? I'd say every culture.
I have yet to find a society in which female sexuality wasn't dictated by men's rules.
