The coda to your secret annoys me. Babs is a focal character of feminist debate in DC fandom. And the consensus of many writers - the majority from what I've seen - who've put time and thought into writing about it agree that her original story was lacking. It's largely agreed that it's her development from that past into a more nuanced hero that's the source of her appeal. That's why just about everyone outside of DC editorial thinks putting her back in the cowl is a massive backwards step.

So basically, I guess I agree with you, but with a side order of "fuck you and the high horse on which you rode in".

Except for whatever unnamed male lion is responsible for Kovu and all the other lion cubs that were born while Mufasa was out of the picture since Scar did not have any offspring for some reason explained by Disney as incest is icky.

I don't really have any opinions on a fictional lion's sexuality, but apparently there were male lions around who weren't Scar, Mufasa, or Simba.

genuinely curious - is it offensive to find physical disabilities attractive?

I don't mean glasses; I'm talking about amputations, crutches, congenital abnormalities, etc. I can see how a disabled person might find sexual interest in their stump or their mobility aids dehumanizing/disempowering, but plenty of other body parts are fetishized in the same way, like long nails or feet. on the flip side, I can also see how reclaiming the disability in a sexual context might be really empowering.

my able-bodied ass would very much like to know how to approach this topic.

I was under the impression that the allusions were Christian, not Buddhist (with the Dolorosa as the Virgin Mary and the Disciple as the Mary Magdalene to the Sufferer's Jesus and Karkat himself as sort of the Second Coming), but I would be interested to hear more about your take on it as well!
