In western culture, female sexuality has largely been defined by men - what we like, what we want, how we are supposed to respond and behave, etc. Men have convinced themselves, and many women, that female sexuality is not "visual" and is all about romance. Hence the cultural beliefs that women do not like porn unless it's soft-core romantic stuff - because we're supposed to be all about the story, not the visual. Thus, how could we possibly like seeing two men get each other off? There's no role for us to play in the happy-ever-after scenario there, so it must be purely visceral - but that doesn't make sense because we're not supposed to work that way. So , if we like it, there must be something wrong with us.

Actually I assume that it's because they're oh so sure that what straight women love in men is their masculinity, which they actually equate to macho clichés. And that, obviously (to them), gay = not masculine at all so how could a woman be attracted to a gay man?

Also, I did talk with women who love to fantasize about the male singer of our favorite band, and they said that if they found out he was gay, they would no longer feel the same amount of excitation about him. I don't really get it, since either way, we'll never going to bed him, but... Some women DO feel that way, so I doubt these would enjoy slash or homoerotic stuff.

Yeah, people generally dislike RPF because they think it's creepy and disrespectful, nothing to do with slash. Het RPF is just as bad.

Okay, I think those are 2 very different things there. Slash is just any two (or more) men together, regardless of whether they are real or fictional, and RPF is writing stories about real people, be that fiction action, romance, snuff, whatever, and whether it involves hetero or homosexual pairings (or none at all.) There are RPF people who think that homosexuality is wrong and gross, and most the people who think that RPF is wrong and creepy think that because it's a violation of a real person's privacy.

Just pointing out... not the same thing.

IDK, the way the secret is written is kinda weird and seems like there's something missing, but I think the OP used the picture to identify the fandom they were referring to, which is Alex Turner/Miles Kane, and being familiar with the some of the fans reactions' to the pairing, reading it like that makes sense to me. I didn't get the impression at all that they were saying RPF and slash are the same thing.
