Here's an article on her (http://journal.transformativeworks.org/index.php/twc/article/view/259/235) that might help—it's about seeing Harley as a woman fully aware of her submissive nature. Personally, I love her to pieces, and the fact that she fully acknowledges the Joker is awful for her and that she's, personally, a terrible person. For her, it's that love without abandon that's perfect. It's very easy to screw that up, of course, and the new DCU has, uh… uh… been the new DCU.
