Nothing wrong with liking seme and uke manga where the characters are written as such, but I'm really not happy about the shoehorning of characters in non-yaoi anime into these emotional stereotypes. For an easy example, during my time in the Death Note fandom, I really rolled my eyes at seme/uke stuff cropping up everywhere in the characterization of L and Light in Light/L (or the reverse) relationships in fanfiction. Neither of them is even remotely like an uke. I understand it's a kink and all that, but in so many cases, it's just flat-out OOC, and I hate OOC. :/
