6. Some of us use it in mockery of the situation, or for other various reasons. I actually think some of them are quite funny... That doesn't mean I'm holding on to the strikethrough business that didn't even directly effect me. Yes, the people that took it too seriously can and did get annoying. Yes, the Pirates = Strikethrough thing always boggled my mind.
No, I'm not going to think less of people because of it. They're icons, it's not a big deal.

They might not be doing it on purpose. Have they given any sort of indication for the reason it takes them so long? I know that, personally, I get into these slumps with RP where I'm extremely slow, but it's never once been the other person's fault. I sometimes become overly critical and embarrassed of my posts (which is something I'm trying hard these days to lighten up about, because, hello, fun internet games) and get stuck for long times when I try to type up a response.

I used to worry all the time that I was making my friends and people I played with feel like you. :( I tried to mention enough, if I could, that I was constantly tripping over my typing and not theirs. I guess this is a long, rambling reply because of my guilt, hahah. I think you should seek out the reason, since it's entirely possible it's not your fault at all.

3 It works this way in nearly every fandom. The shittiness of your work correlates directly with the amount of comments you get. Then again, I like to pretend I'm not an awful writer, and the few things I've posted have gotten a lot of comments, but they also involved popular characters, and that has something to do with it, too. Just keep trying.
