Everyone in V was just so damn hot, you could just put all their names into a hat, pick two out and I would probs ship it. (Ham/Julie omg) Ohhh everyone hated Kyle and I ADORED him! I loved the TV show ans everyone hates that, losers!

also, I just noticed the McGee/Banner fandom, I can't imagine shipping them as a couple, but it's a relationship ripe for investigation, especially Mcgee, did he have a wife, a family that he neglected in his obsession with Banner?

(Anonymous) 2012-01-09 01:08 am (UTC)(link)*nod nod* It's definitely not a pairing that'd work for most people (hell, even I have struggle to make it work -- so far I've only been able to write gen/pre-slash). I just really find that whole obsession thing to be utterly fascinating, and I loved that they actually made truly good friends during David's amnesia stint -- some of those feelings must've remained, and I love exploring the idea of that. Jack's personal life is very intriguing as well, I agree! I don't think he was ever married, but he did mention a woman once... something about her leaving due to his Hulk obsession and him "barely noticing".
(Not too familiar with Columbo, unfortunately -- but I'll have a peek at your LJ and see if I recognize anything else. I think I see Steel in your icon there, for example!)

I adored Kyle to bits, too -- I loved how he constantly tried to be this action hero like Tyler or Donovan, but usually screwed up and ended up having to be saved by Elizabeth. Their relationship was so damn cute, I'll never get over the fact that the series ended on such a cliffhanger note ;_;
