Get out of that loser section of fandom, and come to the good side. This secret is actually a really common sentiment.

Moffat, imo, has interesting and mighty cool concepts, but he executes and expands them terribly. Same with his characters; fun to consider, but frustrating to think about. I think he works better in small doses, episodic doses, so he has less time to fuck everything up with a lengthy, nonsensical arc full of inconsistencies. I love the way he writes dialogue, and there's always these neat nuggets of characterization, but he ALWAYS sprays a can of stupid all over it.


Just. AUGH. Irene really disappointed me :( She's basically like the worst version, and out really irks me that Moffat went around talking about how other adaptations never get her right, but then he goes and not only gets her wrong, he gets the whole point of the original story wrong. It's like reading his personal "how it should have ended" fan fiction.

How about I call all RTD fans idiots who like their plots spoonfed to them with their Doctor whose emotions and pining after a single person whose life he screwed over when there were hundreds others that made sane people cringe? Hm?

I seriously think anyone who is incapable of looking at things from a critical angle is also a dumbass. So the fans OP mentions are probably losers and dumbasses, as well as your idiots.
