And this is why I still have yet to watch it. I've been blasted with it in that way that I'm just like....no. I'll stick to the Richie films, thanks. :/

DW fandom has kind of done the same thing to me, but at least with that one, I've seen all of 9 and chunk of 10 to be a semi fan. 11 I will not touch, however. For all of the same reasons I will not touch Sherlock.

How are your reasons for not watching Eleven and not watching Sherlock the same? The Eleventh Doctor fans are rather chill compared to the Ten ones (and I say that as a HUGE Ten fan.)

Shame you're stuck with action hero!Homes when there's a clever, plotty alternative. Most of us can enjoy both.

I'm fairly heavily involved in both fandoms and just shake my head at the notion of people not watching the product because of the fans, especially when I pretty much never see wank except here? And it's not wank about the show itself? Idgi.
