See I wouldn't hate Twilight so much if it wasn't so popular. But it is. And that's a problem when a large portion of the fanbase doesn't realise it's escapist fantasy.
It's sending out the message that abusive relationships are okay to pre-teen girls, girls who will grow up to get controlling boyfriends and be isolated and abused and think that it's normal.
