I watched that last night and I think it was intentional? She was briefly entranced by/attracted to (depending on your interpretation) Captain Hook. And it is kind of a coming of age film, so it's no surprise that it's mildly sexual, even if they are a little ... young, probably.

As for Tinkerbell, I just want to say...

I dread to think what was going on in my head as a child because when I discovered this fact in my teenage years, having previously only read the book version, it made perfect sense. (Although I think that was more about the psychology of the two characters than anything sexual.)

Weirdly, I watched the end of one of those earlier, too. For the first time ever. And I didn't hate her in it, though that's probably because she wasn't a psycho. It must be the day of weird movie coincidences, or something. All I really took away from it was that the boy fairy has the same voice as Roxas from Kingdom Hearts, though. XD

I hate Tinkerbell in the "Peter Pan" movies/books, but I actually kind of adore her in the Tinkerbell movies, so... |D

I usually just pretend that "Peter Pan" and the Tinkerbell movies operate in separate universes- Peter Pan operating in one where Peter ends up on Neverland, and brings the lost boys, and they inadvertently murder all the fairies but Tinkerbell, leading to severe Stockholm syndrome along with Tink being a homicidal bitch, and another one where he doesn't, and all the fairies continue to live happily without anyone else to bother them. :)

Also the dust fairy that's also Roxas in completely adorable IMO. |D

/note I haven't read the Tinkerbell books beyond the first one therefore this is only applicable to the movies unless someone who's read the books can confirm or deny if it works or not.

Jason is gorgeous in anything. He pretty much is my Hook. Other Hooks have been good, but none can match him.

Have to agree with you there.
The first time I watched the movie (i think i was 10?), I remember having a massive crush on the guy who played peter pan. captain hook was the average villain i guess.
I watched the movie again a couple of years ago, and think he is FIT! I'd join the pirates crew for sure! ;D
