She was completely on point with her thinking in the last ep. Given the evidence she had in front of her, she made an excellent deduction. I have to give her that one.

But her attitude towards Sherlock is just so annoying. Constantly calling him "freak" (whether he is or not, and whether he says he cares or not (it's obvious he feels things that he never says anything about)), continually trying to chase John away from him and make up John's mind for him like she's a freaking nursemaid warning a child away from a dangerous dog instead of acknowledging that John is a freaking adult who can make his own decisions (and has made them!)--her behavior is just petty. She's not any better of a person than Sherlock when she's talking down to him and patronizing John just the same as Sherlock does to others.

Maybe if she took the high road instead of acting like she's 13, I would like her more. But her constant harping grates on my nerves. She jumps at any chance to try to make Sherlock look like an ass or be a thorn in his side when all Sherlock does is come in and do the job that Lestrade asks him to do. He makes fun of Anderson whenever he can but he only responds when Donovan gets in his face first. Yea, he's got a fucking annoying personality. You know what you do with people like him? You ignore them! You don't keep picking at the scab.

I wonder what the backstory is between them because she really acts like they have a rough history. I really hope it's something good.

Ya know, this just occurred to me: At the time of Sherlock's arrest, he and John had lived together for nearly a year and a half. Did it ever occur to Sally that at this point, given that he LIVES with Sherlock and she only sees him every now and again, that maybe John actually knows Sherlock BETTER than she does at this point?

Exactly! And yet she persists. It's pretty much the same as an acquaintance telling you that your partner of several years is bad news or that you should break up with them; they're in no position to make that call for you.

well, I dunno, I'd view stuff like that as more incriminating: of course family/friends would take their side, they don't know any better, yeah? John could be oblivious/protecting Sherlock.

I mean, if I was the police, I definitely wouldn't go believe any close connections to a suspected criminal element about how no really, it's not them, you've got it all wrong.

She doesn't suspect him, though. She just tells him 'told you so', like she's scored a point because she got his best friend arrested.
