The thing is, I understand her disliking Sherlock. He is mean to her colleagues and her - well, to the whole police force-, either calling them stupid to their faces or in subtext. And I cringed when he revealed personal stuffs in the first episode. If I was her, I would most likely dislike him too. Plus, she has taht man facing her who the more sordid is the murder, the more happy he looks; it is kind of normal she doubts him. Lestrade considers him as a friend and is patient enough to work with him, that does not mean his division has to follow him.
However, the name calling is disturbing (for instance, in John's blog, all of her comments are "freak(s)"). And Sherlock might say he doesn't mind, he does. In the first episode, he is surprised and gleeful when John actually admire his way of deducting.
The thing is, the writers seem to have made her character "that chick who really hates Sherlock" without really giving her much more substance - well, it can be blamed on the lack of screentime for her character. And everytime she appears, they are trying to reinforce very quickly that she really dislike Sherlock. Sadly, it is done by name calling, which is the "easy" way, especially when Sally actually somehow comes off as an intelligent person, to me at least.
Well, I don't hate her as I can understand where she comes from. I even quite like her. She's not nice but neither is Sherlock. The only thing is that we are emotionally involved in Sherlock considering the series is about him, it's hard to really like Sally as she gets so little screen time
