I read an awesome fic that was Firefly / Doctor Who. It was the 10th Doctor, and though he didn't do anything romantic, he and River still had a connection for being different from the rest of the crew. they had some adorable scenes together. Here it is, for those who are interested. (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3486089/1/The_Man_With_No_Name)

I think 11 and River would be awesome together.
