Besides, by the way the people introduce themselves, the anime takes place in a European-like country, so one could argue that Japanese is the dubbed language being used so that fans in Japan can understand it.
Al randomly calling out "Edo!" in a fic or Ed shouting "Aru!" is fangirl Japanese. It's the same as a fanfic writer randomly adding in "Ai shiteru" into a predominantly written English fanfic. It's distracting and annoying.

I actually agree with the poster of the secret. In case you didn't read my sentence, like I don't think you did, I was talking about the Japanese. Not fangirls talking the way they talk. The secret was just ambiguous enough for me to make the comment since they said "they".
