As awesome as the X-files is, no. Bones is a completely Supernatural-free fandom, and I like it that way. I don't want references to other fandoms that do have supernatural elements. That is what fanfic is for.

Well, sort of.

I mean, there was the episode where Booth was trapped on that ship, and he was helped by the ghost(?), and Bones even saw him, only it turned out to be a delusion that Booth saw thanks to his brain tumor that Bones saw too. Somehow.

But other than that... Yeah, I kind of agree. ^^;

That whole brain tumor arc was just weird as hell. 4th season is my least favorite due to that. Ugh.

I mean...Booth with a tumor is an alright concept, but how they handled it was bad. ESPECIALLY the Stewie bit. I think I could have handled the weirdness of his hallucinations if it weren't for THAT.

The Stewie bit freaked me the hell out, so yeah... That really threw me off too. >_>;

Though, I did like the AU that happened afterwards, with the bar, but I'm a sucker for AU's like that. ^^;

Wait, that was an episode? Were there any X-Files references? Because that totally sounds like the episode Triangle...

Yep. And I think there have been references to the X-Files as a fictional entitiy (complete with Bones' "I don't know what that means")... I haven't seen "Triangle", though, so I couldn't help you from that front. ^^;

I've seen most of the first season of Bones and episodes here and there, so I was able to get that X-Files reference. :)

Triangle involves Mulder on a ship in the Bermuda triangle and going back in time to 1939, complete with a 1939 Scully lookalike. At the end he wakes up in a hospital bed, where everyone thinks he was hallucinating the whole thing. So this ones episode maybe sounds like a bit of an homage to Triangle? idk.
