If you can't abandon the music, use earbuds. The right kinds can be so unobtrusive that you can sleep with them. You can also try a white noise machine, which should give a similar effect without being quite so embarassing.

Or you can try talking to him. If he's a good man he should understand. :)

Lullabies creep me out. I literally could not stay with someone who insisted we have them on to sleep and I don't think that makes me a bad man. There would have to be the world's best earbuds involved.
