I watched this movie at 1 am after a long day (which included making a Shit Sherlock Fans Say video and eating at a restaurant called Moriarty's), and while I enjoyed it, one thing bothered me: I was able to figure out the mole. I am never able to figure out these things, despite the fact that I watch all sorts of crime and spy dramas. Whether I'm especially astute under those circumstances or not, it made things a bit less...something.

(This is coming from someone whose favorite movie is David Fincher's Zodiac, which is basically a major example of 'slow building without much action', so I don't have those complaints!)

Hopefully this involves my entrails staying in place. I'm coming off my second bad cold in a 3-week period so I'd just hate to have all my hard troubles kicking bugs go to waste.

I really did not mean "I'm gonna kill everyone who didn't love this movie". Seriously. The main complaint was meant to be about My Opinions Are The Center of the Universe Dickitude.

Also, that's kind of an awesome reason for not liking it. Hats off to you, Awesome, hope you feel better soon.

Sincerely: OP, who clearly underestimated F!S's ability to recognize fandom reference plus intentional overstatement. DERP.

If you like Zodiac, you might also like Memories of Murder if you haven't seen it already! It's a Korean movie based on a serial killing case in the '80s and it's similar in tone and build up (thought perhaps a bit more action since the partner likes to drop-kick every culprit).

Oh, thanks for the rec! I know absolutely nothing about Korean cinema so it would have otherwise completely slipped me by. (Drop-kicking is always an acceptable action-y move, yes. *sage nod*).
